Letter in Mail On Sunday yesterday. We have been in Cyprus for the past 2 weeks so would have missed the article that he is refering to:-



FACTS OVER CYPRUS

Regarding your article on visiting the occupied area of Cyprus:



There is a heavy military force implanted by Turkey that refuses to leave the island.



The great majority of hotels in the area belong to Greek Cypriots who have not given their consent for their exploitation and use.

And? There is a chunk of land at Larnaca Airport owned by a Turkish Cypriot. Don't see planes stopping for that.

8000 Greek soldiers barracked in the South.

40 tanks bought from Russia. Can only be used here as no transporters. Air cover from Greece ?
