Do you know anything about the red palm weevil threatening the island's date palms?



Seems it was inadvertently imported when Girne Belediye imported a lot of salvaged Egyptian Phoenix Dactylera.



If you could conduct surveys of the existing trees here and offer treatment to those afflicted may be a good sideline as our Ministry of Agriculture is fairly useless.
