Know its not the Financial Times but this article was in the Business Section of the Daily Record along with photo of a very happy dog. "WE'RE ALL GOING DOWN THE PUP" A beer has been launched for thirsty dogs. Man's best friend can have a bottle of their own down the pub. The non-alcoholic "Dog Beer" uses malt barley extract and tastes of beef. It costs £1.95 for a 33cl bottle. Small dogs should only drink half a bottle a day." Just wanted to share that snippet and get a few thoughts on it. Probably the ones that will arrive later in the day when a few Effes and wines have been taken.

I tried some of that recently. On the way home I cocked my leg up at every Lampost. Took me two hours to walk half a mile. )

Just remember when you drink it, try not to 'woof' it down and drink it slowly. )

What I would be really interested in is how you convince the friends you meet in the bar that the dog is now part of the round ???

What happens when it's the dog's turn to pay and he just 'poodles' off somewhere to hide.

A man with a dog walked into a pub. The landlord said, "Sorry Sir, no dogs." Bluffing outrageously, the man said "I'm blind,.. its my Guide Dog". The landlord looks doubtful and said, "But its a Yorkshire Terrier." The dog owner put on a look of astonishment and said "What? But they told me it was a very small labrador!"

A man walks into the bar with his dog. The bartender immediately tells him that no pets are allowed. "But this is a special dog", the man replies. "He can talk". The bartender- "Yeah Yeah I've heard it before ...roof roof...bark bark." The man- "No, really he can talk. As a matter of fact he can read!. I'll bet you £50" The Bartender- YOu're on. The man takes 50 pence out of his pocket, tosses it to the dog and says "Go get a newspaper" A half hour goes by and the dog still hasn't returned. The bartender is ready to collect his £50 when the man says they must look for the dog. They walk out front and see his dog across the street humping a poodle. Running across the street the man yells at his dog..."What are you doing, you've never done this before!" The dog replies "I've never had money before!"
