If you were a moderator on a Forum ,would you be brave enough to close your partners thread, in fact make it vanish? Bob.

I think it would depend on how many Efes I had consumed combined with how many "of course you can buy that darling" apology dollars were going spare. The alternative would be to e-mail another moderator on the sly and ask them to do it so I suppose the answer would be "No"

If you are the moderator then that is a "Job". Friendship and business never mix. Take the job and take the load that comes with it - your friend would understand that or maybe they are not as much as friend as you first thought? Anser is easy - stick to the rules and no matter who breaks them - take the action required. Would I do it, yes! Maybe you would not like to work for me but you would find that I treat all alike in business - friends are special to me.

AJ, Subtlety is "Too Subtle" ? Let me make it easier - do you think any moderator on this forum has ever been particularly bad for favouritism?

I guess this thread is about the Thread my missus had on here, which I closed down. Reason for closing was I was not going have people jumping to conclusions (as they always do) and certainly not going have my private life discussed on a public forum. I will shut any thread if I feel it necessary regardless of who starts them. If this was not about the thread I closed and made disappear, at least you know why i did that one!!
