A new one recently opened opposite Astro, Girne and are more than happy to accommodate any customer requirements to kick start their business. Owners Oz TC's.

If you are having problems finding DVD shops in TRNC maybe its time you went to spec savers.

Thanks, maybe its time you answered a question instead of trying to make an argument out of it.

We use the shop in karaoglanoglu, they are very helpful. I think we got 8 copies for 20TL, had to take one back becasue the sound was poor and they changed without any problem.

If you are driving from alsancak it is on the left just before you get to the Continenatal and iktisatbank in karaoglanoglu. They open late afternoons.

I travel from Belapais and only ever use the "DVD SHOP" at Alsancak after the Rivada fish and chip shop and before the Starling. Sometimes you do wait a little longer but I think its worth is when you know it will be a good copy.

Mrs. S

The old lemar is near the roundabout where you turn left to go into Girne from lapta, it's the roundabout with the large statue's of a man and a women near the football pitch, instead of turning left for town, turn right the Lemar is about a hundred meters on the right, the DVD shop is directly oposite the Lemar

if you know where the turning down to the rocks hotel is right as you turn on the right hand side their is a dvd shop he also does films on request. Mostly original copies and very good customer service. Each dvd is 5 TL. Buy 2 get one free.

Would you get stopped and fined by customs if you brought those moody copies back into the UK ?

Message 10 & message 12

Rogerthe dodger is talking about the Karakum Lemar just after the new harbour roundabout.

Actually the oldest Lemar in Girne is the one at Karaoglanoglu. The Karakum one came later.

happy feet, they would just confiscate them I think. If you have broadband at home you can download them off newsgroups. http://www.usenext.com is a good newsgroup reader, easy to use. You have to pay 9.95 euros a month tho for 25gb of downloads at fast speed, unlimited tho if u use slow speed.
