Its not generally disgusting Shazam...depends whos doing the kissing, and very, very, common in the UK now.

Usually used in a meeting friends, social setting rather than family.



Some people used to see it as a bit snobby, but its so widely used, its not even that now.

It all depends which cheek the offer you first. Holland I beleive 3. I dont see anything wrong with it. Its been done as a greeting for years by or european counterpat=rts. How many times do you see men kissin each oher here as a form of respect x

We should try to adapt in every way possible, Dont like the kissing thing really, hate it when they havn,t shaved and you feel all that bristle on your liips, and somtimes the men are just as bad. I must admit, when I was over NC in June I just couldn't get away with all the 'meet and greet' kissing, not used to it at all, kept turning my head too far and getting kissed in the ear! I was deaf most of my holiday!
