Apartment cleaning

Does anyone know of someone who will do apartment cleaning, laundry, preperation for guests just as and when it is needed in the Esentepe / Tatlisu area ? We already have a neighbour who keeps an eye on the property and only rent occasionally so we don't need someone to check every week and all the services I've seen offered seem to combine checking apt and servicing it on a fixed contract basis and would cost more than the rental income.

u must be renting too cheep cos the going rate with lynx for full monthly care is usully about 65ytl for apartments thats less than £300 year, maybe u are being greedy and want to make big money but not pay any out

What do you actually get for the money billybob? Our management co charges 40 quid just for a clean and launder which I personally think is a bit excessive considering the cost of labour in the TRNC. I think even in the UK cleaners rates are 6-8 pounds an hour and I'm pretty sure they are not cleaning my apt for 6 or more hours! Maybe it's just me!!!

Thanks Billybob. The quotes we have had have been far more than 65 YTL. Around £40 per clean with laundry on top which as someone else said seems ridiculous as thats a lot more than a cleaner would br paid in the Uk to clean a 4 bed house !

hi suered , welcome to the forum , it does sound excessive does'nt it , do you think its because its a one off , now and again , perhaps there's a local person who would like the work , and you could call upon as and when needed . bona fide of course , other than that you dont have much choice but to use a company

what you have to consider is the distance people have to travel. also with the property being empty dust gathers quite a lot. as for window cleaning aswell. i think wanting to pay less than forty quid is just being greedy. labour may be cheap but you cannot get a ferrari for the price of a lada
