Free MSN Closing? Anyone got any info' about the proposed changes?

I Use msn for my e mailing and instant messaging Ect.

Just recently there have been instruction pop ups appearing when going onto the msn site, sayiny that 'this will be changing' and I will have to download an upgrade. I have no problem with this BUT they want to start charging an annual fee of £59.95. This does include other add ons like Mac afee anti virus Ect but i already have Norton so I do not require that facility along with the others in the package.

Does anyone have any sensible, I shall repeat that, any sensible suggestions as to how to proceed and maintain my Free e mail address?
