interesting results in the carling cup last night for the small fry some very good games by all accounts



six quality goals in the shrewsbury town ipswich town tie



which finished with ipswich winning 4-2 on penalties after xtra time



ipswich fielded a second string of youngsters with a lad called oconnor outstanding not 17 yet and one for the future

watch this space



well done to shrewsbury for making very good game of it

Shaun O`Connor was making his debut



Connor Wickham is the 16 year old lad who scored two goals.



I am lucky enough to leaving for England tomorrow and will be at Portman Road for the first game of the season. It`s going to be emotional

connor wickham looks great and is a real star hope we can hang on to him



and young ainsley is looking good i used to work with his dad george

I remember George Ainsley my brother played in the same Ipswich Youth team.



Big ugly centre half,got into all sorts of trouble for doing a mooney in the coach after a game!
