There are so few topics being closed down. Why? Is everybody behaving themselves? Shame. I liked it when I saw a topic had been closed. That was the first one I read. Let's get back to some good old-fashioned bantering. Or is everyone too hot. Regards PC PS. Ladbooks have offered me even money, that this topic will get "closed" within 2 additional posts, with the comment "Any issues regarding the Mods must be taken up by email, directly with Izzet"

The mods in my opinion are acting a little better now , a few weeks ago i must admit the forum appeared to be having threads closed down by mods who appeared to be power struck (not all mods i have to say just some ) Also mods did not appear to be polite when being questioned on some occasions regarding there role . Just my opinion !!!

Hi No1Doyen. In answer to your question: "PC. Are you saying you like it when threads are closed down?" I cannot answer yes, or no. Except to say a definite NO when it's one of my threads, or one where I have commented. LOL However, I do find the threads that have been closed down, some of the most interesting.

I can't think of anything specific. But the closed threads are closed for a reason. It doesn't matter, whether I or anyone else agrees. I am not commenting on the REASON they are closed, or even WHO has closed them. I just like a little bit of verbal sparring. I always read posts from members who are a little contraversial. I think any member who has been banned deserves a little section for themselves. I want to see a "SIN BIN" section Imagine, you are watching Chelsea v Man U. The ref blows for a foul committed by a Man U player. Every Chelsea player, and supporter, is hoping the ref pulls the red card. I suppose it's just the way it is. The yellow card is just a little bit of an anti-climax. However, the recent penalty shoot-out , had a fantastic amount of drama. Even for the unfortunate loosers!

PC. I'm inclined to agree with you there. We all like to see a bit of banter - it's what makes this forum work. I don't like to see the really vicious stuff on here though, where it really get's out of hand, there's really no need for it. There is a 'sin-bin'. It's where members get temporarily banned. Which does seem to work very well. As for the Chelsea - Man Utd game - well what can I say. Man Utd were robbed!!

I love it when a mod has their point of view and then the next is 'this thread was serving no purpose' thread is now closed......................... look back it happens a lot imo if you are going to chop a thread then you shouldnt be allowed to voice your opinion and not allow others to reposnd first - it seem that some moderators do this, then it seems what they really mean is, this is what I think end of I am now closing it now so noone else can comment !

I think the two fasted contributing threads (both reaching 100 posts within a day and hundreds of views) were on a nightclub and prostitution. They were both closed the following day. Richard

Here we go. Subject gone off topic. No wonder threads are closed Back to topic..... As for the Sin Bin. It's a secret. I want to know (and see) who's in the sin bin. I would like to (virtually) throw wrotten tomatoes at them, knowing they cannot respond. As for being robbed, Mr. No1Doyen. Who was the Man U player, who gave the ball away, AFTER having possession, AND seeing Patrice (girls name) Evra, on the floor, after he ran straight into that wonderful German International player, Michael Ballack? (who, in my opinion, only happened to be protecting his windpipe)

This thread should be closed as the members have run out of any further useful comments. Wow, how about that for a reason to close a thread. Sod it, now I've started another topic. Therefore, this topic, the original topic, (too many bloody topics) should be closed as it's gone off topic. (A hazelnut in every bite!)
