They are disgustingly messy arnt they.

How about asking at the Belediyesi.

If you feel bad about finding the nests and getting rid, perhaps their pest control guys have an answer.

Just thank your lucky stars you dont have Seagulls too! We have about 7 families on our roof, Mum, Dad and two hatched eggs per nest. All jumping up and down screeching and banging shells in the tiles to get the gooey things out. They squawk from dawn till dust AND THEY ARE DRIVING ME MAAAAAAD!!!!!

Definitely 'FOE'

They are vermin, they leave their mess all over the place and rots paintwork.

They have been trying to get rid of them in many UK cities as they 'mess' rots the old stonework.

Do as vidal says, get the pest control in.

we put up spikes and they soon moved, probably onto someone else's house!!

They are disgusting. When we went to our apartment last year, found they had nested in the air-con. The mess they made had to be seen to be believed!

There is a company who advertise in Cyprus Today about putting up the spikes. My husband ended up putting chicken wire around both outside air-cons which (hopefully) seems to have done the trick. Doesn't look very pretty but then again, neither do piles of pidgeon sh*t!

If I were yoy, my first call would be to the Belediyesi - Good Luck.

Vidal - Seagulls - bloody sight worse than pidgeons. I hate them with a vengeance!!

Pidgeons carry more diseases which humans can contract than rats, they are vermin. Unfortunately they are resistant to most poisons so the only remedy is to trap or shoot them. You can also try to design them out by putting spikes on areas where they perch

Rats with wings!!!! In South Africa, the tramps (meths drinkers) throw rocks at them to catch and eat...!! yuk!! Trouble is, they're usually so drunk they miss a lot of the time, so you see a lot of these flying rats with major deformities from badly aimed rocks... i used to feel sorry for them, but then you see how gross they are and it becomes difficult to have any sympathy at all...i'm quite lucky here as my dogs would never allow them to settle, i'm happy to say!!

They are VERMIN but if the idiots wouldnt keep feeding them down the Harbour attracting more and more, although there was a Big placard up last year saying dont feed, they still throw bits out,

They not only do so much damage, they bring with them diseases, and drop S***T everywhere

YUK shoot the bastards, hate them with a vengeance

I read somewhere recently that the reason you see so many pigeons with feet missing is that they poo in their nests and there is so much ammonia in the poo's that eventually, it rots their feet !!

Amazing but apparently true !!!

We have put lots of chicken wire anywhere that they like to perch and that has helped a lot

Good luck with any scare tactics that work for you !

the best thing is not to keep feeding them , how many people are slill puting out stall bread for the birds . i have done it to but not for the last 10 yrs as i have been in sitations were we have had to put vermin nets at great exspence in atriums and other places on diferent properties to cure the problem but then the old girl round the corner still did it a loosing battle just like the barking dogs

If you dilute tabasco sauce and spray it where they roost, they will move.
