5 days in TRNC..

I reply to previous posts in my diary the last few days.I hope you enjoy.

I met my lovely girlfriend at Larnaca airport at 5 mins after Midnight 13th.August,my birthday.

Back to house in Lapta,bottle of champagne,at 0400 I proposed,and the lovely Sandra accepted!!!!



A lovely meal that evening at Guido's...thank you Lilli and Guido!Sandra had secretly ordered a birthday cake,I had secretly ordered the menu!!Even a little dance Michael Ball's "Love changes everything".

A couple of lovely days beaches around Lapta,lovely meal in Cenaps,and a private BBQ my/our house.

Today up at 0430 Sandra flight from Larnaca.

Around an traffic island South Lefkosa,horrible noise in car,oh!tyre gone...no it was Sandra's phone on alarm set to UK time!!!Next roundabout more noises,checked phones,NO,it was church bells outside.

So,Larnaca,bye bye to my fiancee for a few weeks.

To Lapta...guess what?Lefkosa roundabout,tyre really went!!

Congratulations on your engagement, health and happiness always

Glad you made the most of your few days together, to think in a few weeks (time flies here) you will be together permanently, and no more sad partings at the Airport,

At least Mike the tyre lasted until you at least dropped of Sandie so she didnt miss her flight.

We will all get together for that drink when she arrives for good.

Mike - thank you darling for making me so happy and for the last few days. The ring is so lovely. Thank you Lilli and Guido for such a memorable evening, it was so great to see you again! To everyone for their good wishes. Hopefully 25 September will be the last time I see an airport for a while - just make sure Mike that jeep is serviced before then - think we may need to upgrade my love? Perhaps I should bring my car after all?? Sandie xx

I didnt want to say anything Mike and Sandie until you made the announcement. I still have the remains o the cake. I was in tears as I madeMike do it again for me. When they danced to Lve changes everything I disolved. enjoyed the champers.Sandie is getting quite a collection of corks with coins in now. Counting down with you MIKE XXXXX
