Hi All,





Does anyone have one of those codes you dial before making calls to the TRNC? I am sure that I have heard them mentioned on here before. Any help appreciated.

I find the easiest way is ti register with one of the providers such as 18185. The you only have to dial 18185 on a land line then the number. I also use it a lot from my mobile and have the special number programmed in as 18185. All charges are sent direct to your credit card. Been with them for a few years and no problems. There are occassional connection problems but when this happens I fing you cannot get through on any of the cheap providers.

Skype is really cheap been phoning mobiles and on for about half an hour cost 1.20 Euros instantly tops up your credit as well easy.



Skype isnt free to mobiles ? Skype to Sykpe is free

UK mobiles, it is 16.6p including vat per minute.

I normally use Vonage ( call 45 Countries free @ 19.99 / month ) but the 'TRNC' area code is chargeable :(



So I use SKYPE out ( you buy 11.50 worth of credit ) and pay 2.4p a minute



You can even buy a package to call mobiles at just under 9p minute ( normally 13p/minute)

Get anyone with half decent internet to buy a Vonage UK adapter .. then you can call 'em on their UK number, and they can call the UK for free, too - 5.99/ month ( first two months re-credited back - if you like the service!)
