Both can be made by your nearest carpenter. Just show them a picture of what you want and they will make it. There is also a place down at tin pan alley (opposite the big yappi place) which seems to reupholster furniture. They may know of someone.

When our house was being built we were told by various people to make sure you pack an Argos catalogue as if you show a carpenter what you want by picture they will make it and we found this to be a valuable truth.

Hi Pipie

Not completely permanent yet (but spend as much time as possible) roll on 31 December this year when we are to become permanent.

We bought a piece of land about 7 years ago then built the house about 12 months later. We have been visiting Cyprus since 1980 and seen many changes, not all for the better but everyone wants to be selfish and cease building after their property has been built.

Tin Pan Alley is off the main High Street in Girne/Kyrenia. As you go down the hill its the first turning on the left. There is a bank on one corner and I think a clothes shop on the other one.
