After reading all the posts on here about people losing money on unbuilt houses, Houses with no electric after 3 yrs, Poor standard of workmanship, Struggle to get work or open a business because the Turkish Cypriots don't like competition and throw you in jail because the piece of paper you have is not correct. In the south i maynot be able to get title deeds to the house but at least it has electric and water and it is finished not always on time but near enough. I can set a business up to support my family without breaking the bank and unless i do something very bad i wont be in jail. So what has the North going for it?

Steve - you might as well have guessed what reply you would get on here! One sensible answer would be the fantastic panoramic views which the south lacks!

As you posted on previus threads that you live in TRNC!!!!

Since you think that well of the southern part of Cyprus....

I suggest that ,you go and live there.

In the meantime,I also suggest that you stop slagging off TRNC.

Criminal or not,when one escapes a home country and immigrates in another and....qualifies for the citizenship....should that country be critisized(slagged off) by other country for giving the person what they quilify to?

Good old south???!!!!!

Coachie;

Everyone is allowed to critisise,and everything isnt first rate in TRNC!!!

Q1;Why live there if all is bad?

Q2;Is everything in UK first rate?

Message 10 - yorgozlu - I think you make a good point. The grass often seems greener on the other side of the fence - until you get over there

I love the TRNC for holidays but I have never had a desire to live there full time.

It's just horses for courses at the end of the day and a matter of personal preference. It'd be a funny old world if we all thought the same!!

maybe easier to sell your canopies or fountains to the north if you lived here?
