This is a genuine e.mail I had this morning. I think I understood it but here it is just for fun

"I understand what you are telling me.I am sorry that the battery we used inside the machine just last around 3 years.Actually, let's see the issue like this, not every single machine works with problems when battery finished. The problems we are talking is the machine needs to be operated by "Light scan".Coincidently.the machines which needs to be "Light scan" run out of power. There are two problems,"Light scan" by customers and batteries done. The machines do not work normally right now just caused by the Light scan not finished battery. That means the machines works well even though the batteries finished if no "Light scan" problem."

This is the joy of doing business with China.

Ismet,

When faced with incomprehensible language at a factory in China, I resorted to kicking the furniture and throwing papers around - it may have been childish (that's me! ) and I may have been outnumbered by 1319175339 to 1, but it got results - they managed to produce someone who spoke perfect English!

I'm glad that I'm well out of it.

Carry on, and good luck!

Keith.

I'm sure that if Benny Hill were still alive, he could understand it.
