The ' Tree of Idleness ' is a nice resturant and I believe they have entertainment on Friday or Saturday. If you telephone them they will also send a car to collect you ( with in a reasonable distance ) and take you back home free of charge. Slightly more expensive than Girne and district but all the resturants there charge extra for the view and being at the Abbey.

The Kybele is great and I have to agree with the comments on the Tree of Idleness. Bellapais Gardens is also good though the wine is a bit more expensive than other restaurants.

Bellapais Gardens is always excellent and while the wine may be a little more expensive, overall I find the cost to be very reasonable for such a superb experience. Beautiful restaurant, lovely ambience, super service, great food. Kybele is nice too but not in the same league as the Bellapais Gardens foodwise.

We went to kybele at the weekend and it was very poor. The kids ate pizza which had sugar in it. The service was poor and when I complained about the pizza they still charged me for it.

Went to Bella Moon last night and had a really great meal although not steak. You get 7 mezes and salad to start included in the price of the main meal. Most of us had mixed kebab and it really was one of the best I've ever had. All the meat was tender and succulent and the seftali and kofte were to die for. Coffee and brandy on the house. Average price of main meal 28TL with steaks at 30TL.
