AT THE

BEACH LAGOON BAR – LAPTA

23 August 2009

20 tl entry

1- Entry to be received no later than 20 August 2009

2- Each team to consist of 4 persons ( over 16)

3- Teams must build a raft capable of carrying 4 persons and deliver it on the beach by 12 lunchtime on the day of the race (race starts at 1 pm)

4- The raft must complete the race by returning to the beach with its teams members on board

5- No engines or motors are allowed

6- Once afloat there are no rules other than completing the course in the appropriate direction

7- Entry is 20 tl per team. All the money go to prize for the winning team

8- A charity raffle will be in attendance

9- Disco and Barbeque after the event

10- Have fun

Good crowd, excellent raffle, four rafts started and all finished, - eventually, but great fun for those competing and those watching. Hopefully, next year will see a lot more entrants! Well done to the organisers, and all the helpers.

Lol Cazzy.

Winner was a load of blokes who generously donated their winnings to charirty. Last but no means least came the British Lions, youngest squad there, who got the biggest applause.

Looked a lot of fun and loads raised for good causes. Well done to everyone concerned.
