Does anyone know the telephone number of the 'Immigration Office'in Lefkosia,I don't want to waste t

ime there tomorrow,if there on strike!!!!!

Also is it 6yrs now for 'Citizenship'?

I don't have the number would be interested in hearing how you get on with your 'Citizenship' application. When I got my permanent residency 18 months ago I was told that there was no point in applying for citizenship as the government were not authorising any.



So please let us know?

I think you will find it is now 15yrs before you can get Citizenship and even then it is not easy to obtain. I have been here 9 yrs and they still won't give me even permanent residency as I am 52 and I have no pension coming in to Cyprus.

10 years before you can apply for permanent residency,and beleive it or not that applys to mainland Turkish people as well.

Thanks for the feed back folks....I went to 'Immigration'Lefkosia today,glad to say they not on strike!!!.....I meant Permanant Residency,not 'Citizenship' I understand it's 6yrs,but they probably changed the goal posts again.Didn't manage to find the info,cos it was hectic!Never mind eh..
