Our 9 year old Henry has given up the ghost today! He has been an excellent hoover for the last 9 years and I would like to replace him with the same make. Anyone seen one for sale here in the TRNC or even on the dark side? Vanessa

madturk: Dyson do a deal where you pay them to overhaul your Dyson vacuum. I contacted them around 2 years ago and got it done - was around £50 if I remember rightly and they replaced everything that needed replacing. My dyson was as good as new and is still going strong - MUCH cheaper than buying a new one so would perhaps be worth looking into!

I bought my Henry with me from the UK and thought I was doomed when he fell ill and I couldn't find Henry stockists in Cyprus. However, a quick google for 'numatic Henry spares and repairs' brought forth loads of online places selling just about everything you could need for restoring him to full health. I opted for an eBay seller - the part cost under a fiver and Henry lives again!
