Our 9 year old Henry has given up the ghost today! He has been an excellent hoover for the last 9 years and I would like to replace him with the same make. Anyone seen one for sale here in the TRNC or even on the dark side?

Just checked out the shop in Alsancak, They have quite a few different makes in there but no Henry!

Simbas, what was the name of the shop in Iskele please?

oh god Vanessa , i don't know the name , but it's quite a small furniture shop on your right if you are coming from Girne you have to pass Tesko on your left first .

Hope this helps , Simbas

madturk:

Dyson do a deal where you pay them to overhaul your Dyson vacuum. I contacted them around 2 years ago and got it done - was around £50 if I remember rightly and they replaced everything that needed replacing. My dyson was as good as new and is still going strong - MUCH cheaper than buying a new one so would perhaps be worth looking into!

Did anyone manage to find a Henry in TRNC? We are debating bringing one out from the uk but just wanted to check prices first.

I bought my Henry with me from the UK and thought I was doomed when he fell ill and I couldn't find Henry stockists in Cyprus. However, a quick google for 'numatic Henry spares and repairs' brought forth loads of online places selling just about everything you could need for restoring him to full health.

I opted for an eBay seller - the part cost under a fiver and Henry lives again!
