Is this why there is so much interest from Isreal & Russia in North Cyprus ?

AJ will will saying you've made his day ;)

This article is from a GC newspaper - Polititis

I believe the "interest" is because TR has asked Russia if it can locate a transit station on a proposed leg to Israel in the "TRNC" ..

Russia has long been a strong supporter of the "rump" RoC and AJ's case is that TRs geogrphic location means that realpolitik will mean that Russia will make an "exception" to its rigid support of the UN Security Council Resolutions ;) ...

Hi mmm,

I imagine TR is "suggesting" that this is part of the deal.

If this gas is going to be available to TRNC, what are the chances of RoC buying some from TRNC? Too proud to ask?

Dear "TRNC"

last I heard the TURKS owed the "rump" RoC £117 CYP for electric used - it remains unpaid :(

As you know, the RoC isn't going to send a bill to a "TRNC" company ..

I seem to remember you were quite gracious when the GCs helped out- the TCs had a "problem" with their Electric two years ago.. ( despite) the 100 mill plus owed..

Did I refresh you short memory ;)

Hi mmmmmm,

I hadn't forgotten that and I still maintain it was very generous of RoC and won them Brownie points. I am comparing this proposed gas pipe-line to the proposed water pipeline from TR to TRNC where the RoC minister whos remit it was, was asked if RoC would buy water from TRNC and the answer was very much an exercise of cutting off ones nose to spite ones face.

"Russia has long been a strong supporter of the "rump" RoC."

The ROC is welcome to that support, puts the TRNC in a more favourable light .Now all we need is for N.Korea to add its support for ROC to make things even better.

By the way is there a GC mafia.?
