Now winter is on the way how many of you would like to come back permanant to live in uk do you think after all that sun and blue sky. could be a bit depressing

I used to live in Mid Suffolk and the main problem was the cold easterly winds that howled down from siberia acroos the north sea and norfolk into suffolk.

Personally, I don't find the UK winters that bad. Perhaps we are used to it and take the usual precautions. The ones who really moan about winter are those in NC where the houses are not built for the cold, heating expensive and have acclimatised to the hot weather.

suffolk , yes the weather can be depressing , but we love the UK , and to be honest here in the lovely Shropshire country side ,seasons are looked forward to by us , we have learnt that there is a lot more to life than just the weather although warms sunny days are welcomed , but certainly not a priority on our wish list , few months in Trnc and the rest in the UK , best of both worlds so to speak !!!

Really looking forward to winter in TRNC this year. Can't wait to put down the lovely rug I bought in Fethiye, get the log burner fired up and snuggle down in my duvet with the electric blanket on!! Oh and lovely sunny days too (mostly).
