Does it hurt us when you stick up for NN? Someone who you probably haven't even met before? But yet when a relative of ours sticks up for us....you all gang up.

And as for namecalling your potential customers "bullies with a lack of self-esteem".....not a good business plan !!!

You may quite rightly think it , but DON'T say it out loud on a public forum where you may alienate people even further.

Stick with promoting your business rather than slagging off other people.

We feel like we are being bullied....maybe it's the age difference or the dry sense of humour we don't quite understand???



what i don't understand is that why is there no nasty comments on any other persons posts when they try to promote their goods apart from ours?

I've never met NN BUT I have been into H&N. I have to say they were both very pleasant but despite taking our phone number and promising to call back when they had the equipment we needed we never heard from them again so someone else got our trade. Maybe it was because they hadn't been up and running for long and to be fair I haven't needed anything else since so I haven't been back.

When you say "you" I hope you don't mean me.....I'm just trying to point out why all may not be going to plan with your self-promotion on here.



If you are not fully honest and upfront about everything ,then you tend to get found out quickly on here and people pounce !



My comments were meant to be constructive.....promote your business honestly and in a fun way.....and don't get dragged into slanging matches.

Hi again...

If someone says "I'm xyz, and I've opened a shop to do abc", we accept it as true

If someone says "I'm the brother of xyz, and he's opened a shop to do abc, and I think he's excellent", we accept it as true

If someone says "Hey have you heard about xyz, he's opened a shop to do abc, and he's excellent, he did a really good job for me" we wonder whether it's xyz's brother...

This is simply the way these forums work, because we are so used to seeing people try the same thing on us, time and again, as though we are idiots

One final bit of the KC business philosophy for you:

You cannot win an argument with a customer – if you win the argument, you will surely lose the customer!

Cronos...."you" was not directed at yourself at all, it was directed to everyone who is against/rude/horrible/nasty towards us.



There was no dishonesty or fake facts about anything...they were only things that we had heard of or people just misunderstanding our wording. It's not easy when you speak and write 2 completely different languages, and living in north cyprus is not making it very easy to keep up with our english lit, and being our 2nd language an all that as we are having to communicate in turkish more often than before.



I feel that people should ask themselves before pouncing on me or my partner, as we have done nothing to hurt anyones feelings the way they have ours.



Our business has been open for just over a year now and all that we tried to do is to let the british people know we are here to help, as many struggle speaking the language. We offered our help over the forums and over the phone even via MSN....we are not trying to scam people or slag other business

I honestly didn't understand what you're saying, however I did not put through anything saying we are excellent....BUT I have said Nethouse is excellent and never sent a post through saying we're the best.



Straightforward and honest about what....I don't understand what have we lied about?



If this honesty issue is still going on, just come in and see for yourself and later make the judgement.



I will no longer be replying to comments made on any further issues regarding honesty.

I wouldn't worry about it!



You will always get a certain number of posters who (most probably have never started up or run their own business with their own money), who are instantly prepared to criticise and knock anyone who has actually had the guts and commitment to go for it.



They're basically 'Armchair Experts'!



Everyone who has never risked their own lives for a business are the first to knock anyone who does.





It's obviously a 'Learning Curve', you will have successes and failures, but you go for it!
