Yesterday, 26th August, I took my grey tomcat to Garfield's vets in Lapta to have treatment and a collar fitted. Unfortunately, the front door had been left open and he escaped. I haven't had Smokey long; he walked in about two months ago and adopted me. He was last seen crossing the main road and heading towards Lapta village. Smokey is grey all over and, believe it or not, is the size of a small Jack Russell, with prominent, luminous green eyes. If anyone has any information, please email me at lucybinx@yahoo.co.uk .

Thank you, Alan

Hi Alan,

sorry to read about your cat going missing.

If you have a picture of the cat, why not post a 'link' to the picture on the Forum?

If you don't know how to do that, email any pictures to me at keithcaley@yahoo.com.

If you don't know how to do that give me a ring on 0533 830 1835.

Take heart in the fact that he might well be someone else's much loved pet anyway, and was just having a 'holiday' with you!

Fickle things cats! - I should know...

Best regards,

Keith

Alan - I do hope you find Smokey. I must agree with Keith Caley; cats are fickle things and it would seem that smoky grey ones are the worst! We have a large smoky grey cat who adopted us years ago, as has my friend. Must be something about large, grey cats.

Do hope he turns up safe and sound.

First of all, thank you to everyone who expressed their concern about my missing tomcat, Smokey. It's now nearly a week since he escaped from Garfield's vets and there's been no sighting of him. Unfortunately, as it was a recent adoption, we don't have any photographs of him. Please, if you do have any information, either post a message or email me and I'll contact you as soon as possible. I'd just like to add that there's a small reward for the person who returns Smokey safely to me.

Thank you, Alan

Wow that's excellent. Make sure you take some photos of him in case he goes walkabout again.
