car import query if owned by a couple from new

I believe you can import a car of any age if you have been the only owner. Does anyone know if can be a couple. I bought a car from new 4 years ago, and last year transferred it ito my hubands name when i got a new one. If necessary we could transfer it back again

Go to the customs office in Nicosia and ask what their view is I presume you are Mr & Mrs if civil partners or married halfway through the cars life I bet no chance a slim hope if Mr &Mrs but ask dont risk it off in the road behind the Mercedes and Dodge Chrysler dealer on the bypass

Might be better to sell it and buy here - plenty of bargains to be had with loads of ex pats packing up and going back to Blighty...
