John,

A ton of water is a cubic meter

1 cu meter = 264.17 gallons (US) or 219 .97 gallons (imp)

Water here is dealt with in tones though.

Avarage volume 9x5, assuming around 2m deep end, 1m shallow end

9x5x1.5+67.5t plus balance tank (approx 6 ton)

you can do the conversion to gallons.

Cheers

Brian

Hi Brian,

Based on your basic assumtions I would calculate about 21,397.77 gallons.

Based on your formula I calculate 19416.495 gallons

Sorry for delay in responding I was in the shower 27.1574 litres.

Shall we call it 21,000. Half an answer half the prize.....Half a pint of Efes.

Cheers Brian.....Have a good trip to South Africa Regards........John

Hi birice your best bet would be to go in to the main page, scroll down, log on pools, you should get your answer there.
