I wish there was a web site where I could read a daily overview of the most important content of the local papers (papers in the Turkish language). I would pay for such a site. Would you?



Is this an idea someone would like to work out (with me and others)?

Yes Dutch, it has always been an idea in the back of my mind but I've always thought it would be difficult to keep up to date without the input of a lawyer such as Naomi Mehmet or someone to translate the gazette. As for people paying for this service....

I mean, with a professional approach it will not be necessary to copy/paste from TC web sites (hence stealing and infringing copyright) where they offer some translated news in English.

Hi Dutch,

I have been trying to get something like this off the ground for over a year now on my website...

There is a new independent news agency with journalists from both sides of Cyprus and a Cyprus Community Media Centre. Both have received large grants to report independently on news in Cyprus.



Waiting for them to actually start... not sure what their status is at present ...
