I want to put the fire on;



Watch TV again;



Have the cats inside in front of the fire;



Make some lovely soups and casseroles;



Put on some shoes and socks;



Have a nice warm duvet on top of me and an electric blanket underneath;



Go for walks;



Visit the sites;



Stop being a slave to the garden;



And finally, stop paying for tankers.



Roll on the cooler weather

This is what I'll be writing come January...



I want to open the windows again;



Spend some time outside;



Seeing the cats outside sleeping under their favourite bush;



Have some BBQ's and salads;



Wearing flip flops;



Sleep naked without covers;



Laze by the pool and fall asleep during the day;



Go to the beach;



Spending a little time watering the garden and watching the plants come alive;



And finally, hope the cost of tankers doesn't rise again!



Roll on the warmer weather

I love all the seasons here, and must admit that the weather never affects my appetite !! I still have stew and dumplings, liver with thick gravy and mashed potatoes in the summer and tonight I am having a very hot chilli and corriander yorkshire puds!!!

The hot weather was one of the attractions for me. We have just returned from the UK and actually were very lucky with the weather but it was just warm enough and the evenings were very chilly. Love the climate here!
