travel to/from cyprus by road

Has anyone driven to/from Cyprus to the UK in a car passing through Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey. Did you have any problems and would you do it again?

Attached to an email to you you'll find my map which speaks for itself, I think. I mapped a scenic route (done by an English friend) and the fastest route, which I did myself from Holland (with a big dog in the back of the car...). Would I do it again? I hope I don't HAVE to do it again (i.e. because of the dog!). If you want any information, just reply to my email. It's a very nice drive!

i've done it in both directions on my own on the route you mention and I had no problems whatsover,as long as all your paper work is in order there should be no problems.

If you are with a lady - be careful where you stop. If you are by yourself - be even more careful (in Bulgaria...). But: it's a great trip!

Forgot to add: the map I send you is large. Be patient when downloading, please. The map can be smaller, but then such a map is only good for viewing on your screen. The route I send you is fit to print and will be very crisp. - Hans Doeleman
