A man goes into a library and asks for a book on suicide.

The librarian says; "we used to have lots of them but no-one ever brings tem back."

Zebo, a blind five year old South African orphan, has to ride 7

miles a day to school with only one leg. His bicycle has with buckled wheels

and no brakes.

Give just a small donation of 2 dollars and we'll send you the video,

it's hilarious

I have to admit I laughed,

I printed it out, folded the page and showed it to 3 people - they all laughed, and believe me, these are not BAD people, they are normal, caring people who, right up until the punchline, were ready to donate to the poor little blind boy.

It's the SHOCK, the sheer 'unexpectedness', the inappropriateness that makes you laugh - really I think that you are laughing at yourself to some extent, for being so easily 'drawn in' to a story with so few words...

There's nothing wrong with laughter as long as it doesn't kill compassion, caring, and charity.

Keith.
