Does anybody use Topfield Personal Video Recorder?

I have a Topfield brand Satellite receiver with over 80 Gb. hard disc in it which means I can record up to 23 hours of programmes. It has two tuners therefore I can record two programmes at the same time or watch one while recording another. The other advantage is time shifting which means you can watch and record a programme at the same time but say 20 minutes behind. By skipping all the commercials you can catch up with it.



As a bonus now I can transfer the recorded programmes to my computer via the USB connection and watch them with Media Player or convert them to DVD format and record them on DVD. The original recording has a .rec extension, so I have to use two separate software to convert to DVD format. I can help if anybody is interrested.

You will want a terrabite external drive to add to it then you can store hundreds of hours of programes that you will probably never have the time to watch.

Ah well, that's what I am going to ask for my next birthday than. Trouble is I hardly ever watch films or take any pictures even when on holiday.
