We went to the opening night of the Taj Mahal and had a very pleasant evening. We enjoyed the food although we were one of the last ansd some things had been eaten.some eople had their plates piled up like the 5 finger range!



Just one comment some of the food was cold so if they want to do a buffet in future they need to address their hot dishes.



Anyway thank you for providing us with the free, very nice food.

Was it very busy in the Taj Mahal? Thought so. Free food, you know. Looks like every bar/restaurant, opening in Northern Cyprus, has the best day of the year during opening night. With promises (on this board) like "We def will be back...". But - do they come back? Driving from Girne to Lapta one often doesn't get the impression that old and new establishments are doing fine.



No, I think it's the one time "free food" - a sign of the times or a sign of a certain mentality? Or both?

Had a blinding night, thanks Jeff for all your hard work and all that free food ! Mine was not cold, and to cater for 70 in one sitting was pretty amazing. Once again, Thanks mate and you can count on our support in the future, see you, with the rest of the crew on Thursday.

Yes I have to agree it was a brilliant opening night all food was hot and plenty of it. The organsiation was superb well done Jeff and Emine and good luck for the future.

Same from us too. Great night and excellent food. Thanks to Jeff and Emine and everyone else who helped out to get everything ready.

For the benefit of DC, we had no idea the food was going to be free until we got there. We went simply to support this young couple's new venture and will continue to support them as regularly as we can as we have done in the past.

have to agree as well, really an awesome evening and as always the food was totally amazing, Jeff's cooking is always excellent and on behalf of all my friends with me last night a big thank you and we all look forward to you and Emine having continued success, you both deserve it very much.

We didn't realise that the food was free until we got the bill!

Simply went along to support them, they've had a really tough time over the last couple of years, with losing their first child and everything, I do admire their guts and persistence.

I wish them all the best for the future, and will continue to visit them as I have in the past - sporadically!
