Don't think so. There are two distinct small rocky "ıslands" at the end of Cyprus which also tapers more to a point than your picture.

The view posted in message 1 is taken at an angle, possibly from a 'plane, so that the 'pointed end' looks blunter than it really is - I managed to replicate this view in Google Earth - try it for yourself if you have an hour to waste...

I too tried Google Earth & couldn't how it was the Karpaz, Keith? I turned GE round to the same angle.

Nowhere else in Cyprus either though.

It is Karpaz......you can see one of the rocks in the far distance...........(the image was taken at a very high level, so explains why the rocks cant be seen so easily.

I don't think so, the beach is on the north coast, so the end of the pennisula would at the other side. I think!

I'm certain it is, I have on the left looks like golden beach and you can just see that bit of rock of the end of the tip.

It does appear to be the Karpaz - but Golden beach is the one on the right nearer the tip
