I think it is an interesting graphical story about the (mis)fortunes of our Ottoman Turkish neighbours.

=> Quess what: hard to miss and I happened to see that, Mark... The copyright expired and hence the map entered the public domain. And sometimes maps and other graphics are still copyrighted but enter the public domain with permission of the author or his/her heirs. Etc. Etc. Complicated business, eh, copyright...

=> Mark, become a cartographer somewhere and wait till someone steals one of your maps on which you worked for a week or so. Or longer. Then you become *very* interested in the subject and you will study what you can do to get the money (often 3-5 times the original amount) the thief owes you. In other words: protect your copyright.

And since you don't make maps nor upload them, copyright is not your pressing problem, or is it..?!



Or do you need a map to find the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus)..?
