Hi

I am over in Iskele in a few weeks and require some wardrobes for my apartment. I don't want anything to fancy and It doesn't matter whether they are flatpacked or already constructed. Can anyone recommend a NC retailer who sells this type of furniture who will also deliver. Have checked a couple of wesites but cannot find anything specifically relating to the sale of wardrobes.

'Ronnies Furniture' guys will come to your apartment, or 'concrete tent' - er, sorry, villa - they'll measure up and quote you accurately for MDF to beech - most people go for pine. Most people also know Ronnies use quality pine, not 'concrete boxing pine' as many 'carpenters' do - no names/no pack drill!

I'm only a satisfied customer - no financial interest, whatsoever.

Go and see their carpentry workshop as well as their showroom. If you want, honesty, integrity, spot-on service and prices - you can't do better!

They do have a website: I'm sure you can Google it. If you want their phone number - post again - sorry I haven't got it to hand right now.

Thanks for that, Cooper - you're a scholar and a gentleman!

I think these 'Ronnies' boys deserve a bit of publicity.

Ikea is VERY expensive compared to EU/UK - also, do you want to take the risk of 'running the TRNC Customs gauntlet'? - Definitely NOT advisable - you'd better believe it!

You pass 'Ronnies' on your way into Girne from Iskele - make life easy for yourself!

Has Ronnie's moved? it was well to the west of Girne last time I visited. Not exactly on the road from Iskele.
