hi felicity

there can be a few earthquakes but are few and far between but saying that there was one on the 14th time 23:47 measuring 3.0 on the magnitude scale

in guzelyurt

below i have provided a website that covers turkey and the cyprus region because there can be quite a few earthquakes here in turkey and i have experianced a couple here in marmaris one that lasted about 30 seconds which was 3.8 and i had a few drinks at the time at home and thought to myself i got to stop drinking!!!!! lol

and remember its not the earthquake that kills and injures people its the poor workmanship of the buildings and also the magnitude might be quite high but also the depth has got a lot to do with it aswell the higher the depth the more of the shake

Earthquakes are easily insured against at no extra premium, therefore as insurers don't think damage very likely , I would think risk is minimal
