Are you sure you have quoted the size correctly. It sounds the size of a dog kennel? What on earth are the size of the bedrooms? Cot size?

Niot meaning to be sarcastic, but again I ask cos 56 sq m is tiny, weeny.

Stewart...msg 5

Once again the tired old cliche of "are a greek pragmatist? " is brought out whenever there are any dissenting voices about the Shangri-La of North Cyprus.

Your business is flogging property...I have no problem with that, and wish you well,....but don't denounce people as GC sympathisers or naysayers when they are speaking from personal, first hand experience of the biased and discriminatory TRNC property buying system.

Permission to Purchase IS a problem.

Title Deeds ARE a problem.

Proximity to Military bases IS a real issue.

Don't try to deceive people into thinking that the property system in NC is all plain sailing and just like buying abroad in any other country....it ISN'T....it has it's own unique set of rules and peculiarities.

Tenakatou, and others like him who have been at the sharp end and suffered the realities of buying in the TRNC,have every right to state the facts as they see them, without having to face cheap shots about any fabricated

dear Cronos

I am ALWAYS open and honest, the property is in Kyrenia, no where near miltary land.

I have never had a problem with permission to purchase, or deeds, hence I am not sure why you should tar all sales with the same brush. If you and others have had a problem, I am genuinely, sorry for you all.

FYI I do not flog property as a business, I am financially secure, therefore do not need to sell anything, in this instance, I am simply passing on a great deal, available, direct from the developer.

With regards to my comments to Tenakatou...it was an honest, direct question, requiring an honest, direct answer.

Cronos/Msg 11 re Msg 5:

Thank you, Cronos, you took the words out of my mouth in reply to Stewart - actually, I couldn't have expressed my reply as well as you have!

For Stewart's information, part of the reason I came to the North was because I was blatantly cheated by the tax department in Paphos when I sold my house.

Some 'Greek pragmatist', Stewart!

Anyway, thank goodness I'm not reduced to having to flog so called 'Exchange' property to unsuspecting foreigners - be careful where you go, Stewart - you might find yourself getting arrested for involving yourself in such business, which should be the rightful preserve of TC's!

Dear Tenakoutou

Please note, I do not hide behind hidden identies, being arrested, will be very interesting, I presume this will be at the same time all those estate agents and solicitors based in North Cyprus will be arrested?

Rightful preserve of TC's????...The property I bought, was from a TC, hence I presume you are endorsing rather than condeming my sales / purchases?

Dear Stewart,

My own particular problems stem from" doing the right thing" and buying Pre-74 Turkish Title.....and still getting shafted by the TRNC.

However, your tales of buying/selling Exchange property, and having no problems, are a little divorced from the reality that most buyers will face.

Your comment.."The property I bought, was from a TC" doesn't have much credance if the property wasn't HIS to sell.....except in the eyes of the TRNC govt !

Dear Cronos

I am assumming that you truly believe that all those TCs that lost their lands in the south during the conflict, have no rights over their new land in the north?

Dear Stewart: are you promoting the sale of these 56 sq.m 'dog boxes' from obsequiousness, the 'goodness of your heart', or are you doing so on a commission basis?

Whatsoever, you're certainly 'sticking your neck out'!

Don't you realise that even as a 'pseudo estate agent' there may well be some who read this public forum that may not take kindly to your dubious activities?

It could be that your 'cards are marked' already - especially since you so stoically claim that: 'Please note, I do not hide behind hidden identities...'

The reason I haven't included my email address in my profile is simple: I don't want, or need, a flood of 'spam' emails resulting from unknown persons selling it on. If any bona fide enquiry is forthcoming, I am quite prepared to divulge it; otherwise, I believe I have a right to my privacy.

Hi T, having already clearly stated that I am financially sound, all I am trying to do is to help a Tc make his way in the world.

I feel pity for anyone who tries to knock others who are simply just trying to help others.

Your comments that my "cards are marked" and my "dubious activities" clearly break rule 3 on this forum site. They are clearly threatening and unfounded.

Would you like to meet face to face, to discuss the issues you have with me trying to help TCs in North Cyprus?..

Stanstill, This is the second time I have seen you do this, the last one was when The Rose Garden advertised and you told them they should have put 'Event' in front of their post.

I wasn't aware that there were 'Board (Bored) Police' on here?

56 sq meters for 35K might be weeny as you say but hell its also a weeny price

its a space approx 8 meters long by 7 meters wide = 26 ft 3 inches X 23ft 1 inch

not to bad for a holiday home but i agree a tad small for full time living

Stewart: Bless you for 'helping' a TC get on in the world, although I doubt the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office would view it that way!

Does 'promoting the sale of...' ring any bells with you?

Your profile states that you have a 'porfolio of properties for sale and rent' - how come you, as an individual, can 'own' so many in your name, yet not have them in 'trust'?

As for meeting me - trust me, you wouldn't want to!

Actually, it was the 'Highway 61' gang, Richard - we used to battle with those 'Mongrel Mob' Horis!

Hell, I'm not in total retirement - I still bite the head off the odd chicken, just to keep in practice!
