You could try Chris Cockshot at Diana Beach. I am told he is very good.

Well this isn't my first post and I have been told by at least 3 people whose children learnt to sail with Chris and they have all said he is a good teacher. He use to operate out of Diana beach, but not sure if he still is.

Yes Chris is still at Diana Beach, the home of the only professional sailing organisation in the TRNC, where sailing is taught to the International standard recognised worldwide. For further information please phone Chris on 8156125. There is also a Sailing Club for those who already sail. Please look at the website for more details.

Well pinkchilli, it looks like my first post has been supported by others. I am sure in time people will make of me as they wish but thanks for the warm welcome.

So, islandgirl, you have been watching.

I have no doubt others support you. However, you have not answered the question.

Keep up the good work.

Welcome to the board, Terry!

I was told by my neighbor if you must know whilst looking for something for the kids to do over the summer, never got round to it. It really is imaterial who told me as it would still be second hand info.

Just who Terry is I have no idea perhaps someone could elighten me, sounds like crossed wire though, sorry.

I am assuming that pinkchilli is referring to Chris's wife. Chris Cockshott has an impeccable record for teaching sailing, he has reached the top in coaching sailing instructors etc. there are also other excellent sailing instructors at Diana Beach club. In 2 years they have trained youngsters off all nationalities to be good young sailors and have outshone other older sailors from the other 2 clubs in the TRNC Sailing Federation.

The club are holding their own annual regatta next saturday 19 th. Sept at Diana Beach from about 11.00 am, so come along and see the clubs achievements.
