Does anyone know where I can find wholewheat pasta? Or brown rice? What should I look for on the label in Turkish for wholewheat pasta for example? & where would I find it in the North if possible?

Am thinking of lunchbox recipes for work that are not boring sandwiches and less fattening & more healthy & filling!

The only thing I've found is pasta with added bran, looks like wholewheat but not. I've been asking in Dano for wholewheat bread or pitas, (they do brown bread, they should be able to do wholewheat,) but with no success.



It's not the bread that's fattening it's what's on it, and in it! Pasta and rice will be just as fattening, if you don't burn off the calories from those heavy carbs.

Thanks! Will keep looking & trying then! Just thought for example tuna with wholewheat pasta would be more healthy and filling, I am well aware and try not to eat too many eat carbs at all but it's harder when you are working and bring in a packed lunch!

Nat. In Tempo They have a fixture almost opposite the end of the vegetables selling a lot of organic stuff. Could be rice and pasta there. I`ve never looked properly because it`s a lot more expensive.

I saw brown pasta in Illeli in Alsancak the other day but didn't read the label so don't know if it is whole wheat or not. It was also a very small packet.
