SV, just type Mavi Kosk into your search engine, the details will come up. It's open every day apart from Mondays, and it costs 2tl to get it. Worth every penny.

And be prepared for some slight exaggeration on the truth, we have heard several versions on separate visits, but well worth seeing.

Thanks to all of you for the info I'm in the UK at the moment. One of Mr Brown's victims so no Kibris holiday this year after nine consecutive visits. Still "nil illigitimo carburundum". I have visited Mavi Kosh and as "hattikins" said we had a slightly different story each visit, and wondered if there was a definitive history. It is such an intriuing place.

we have lived here for 6 years and only this summer decided to visit because of recomendations from members of this forum, and it certainly is worth the 2 tl to go around. We took our passports and kimlik cards but they only wanted one, which they kept on the main entrance and it was returned on us leaving the premises. An interesting story, not sure how much is true but still well worth a visit.

Very interesting place to visit, we felt. As others have said, you should perhaps not take everything you are told as "Gospel"
