This is typical of Turkey, instead of putting their hands up and saying,

'Yes, this is terrible, let's try and fix the problem we have in this country' they very quickly become defensive and turn on the one that has uncovered / shamed them. I remember watching this documentary and it was terrible what these children were going through. Instead of concentrating all efforts and resource to find someone to blame, why not try and fix the problem. This blame approach seems to be common in Turkey and even NC, why not sit down and face the issues and tackle each one one by one - I think this is just a cultural thing and will never be resolved.

For some reason, i can't quite understand why Turkey is doing this, bcause surely if they insist on extraditing her, they will have to start justifying their treatment of the children, and therefore alienating themselves even more...??? Surely but surely...it would do them better to address the problem and promise to do something about it...?????



I am not politically minded and have never claimed to be, but i would have thought that commonsense should prevail here...or am i missing something on bigger picture level...??
