The supplies seem to run out every now and then, last time was May this year. We haven't seen any on East side of Girne this month. Please let us know if you find any, it's hubby's favourite.

yes it was a few months ago now when it was last in the shops..I stocked up well (or so I thought) but now I've run out..keep looking in every supermarket I go in but nothing !!! if I find some I will post and let you know !

According to my wholesaler the brewery broke down but should be up and running in a few weeks. Pure speculation; but maybe no bottles left and awaiting import clearance or Efes, with their clout have scuppered things for them. It is odd that a brewery should 'go down' in the height of the season and heat when demand is at peak level!

i have been told , when the shops get a supply in, the locals and the bars buy it up in bulk because its a lot cheaper than efes and its not a bad beer either

got the last 5 cases 8 or 9 days ago from tempo in catalkoy,the manager in there told me ,new stock will arrive in 10 days time. maybe today or tomorrow,il have a look later today.

I'm gonna give it one last try today..checking out some more supermarkets with fingers crossed. Is it right there is an off-license next door to supreme supermarket in catalkoy? It's always 'tomorrow' with Tempo when they're out of a product, not having one iota of an idea which tomorrow they're referring too! Damn annoying when making a special effort to get to them to find out that they had lied.

My husband (the gold fassel drinker) was in the off-license next to Supreme the other night so I'm guessing they don't have any as he would definitely bought a few packs.

not had any luck in finding fassel beer so I ended up getting tuborg..case of 24 bottles 33cl..42.50tl from bells...will keep looking though and in the meantime if anyone spots it anywhere let me know..cheers !!!

We have always drunk Effes when we are over. Is Gold Fassel a Turkish beer - it sounded a bit German/Belgium - will have to give it a whirl next week - if we can source a bottle or two!
