A picture would give us all a better chance to spot this lost dog. Mail a pic (attach it to your email message) to hansdoeleman@allcrusades.com and I'll upload the pic for you.

hi havent managed to obtain a photo yet but trying, no unusual markings yes had a collar black i think, very cute face, about the build of a labrador but slimmer, very long tail hugs floppy ears, and extremely friendly. Not sure if hes just gone missing or a case of someone dumping him off somewhere afar as he may of disturbed because he was out alot as the dog sitter did not do there job... He could be anywhere, but he was last seen around the escape beach/sartoria village area any help would be great and will get pic posted as soon as i can. many thanks

Lulubell I had to swerve to avoid a dog on Wednesday night about 7.10 Dark tan, lab size. His tail was feathered like a retriever. About 3 speed bumps up the road to GAU. He bolted straight out in front of me, I skidded and he shot down a side road. Do you think he could have got that far?

hi vidal yes i think he could of got that far as he may of also gone down the dirt track which leads on to the main road. Sounds just like him although he does not have a feathered tail, but he is all short hair including tail. do you think his tail was definately feathered or could of been short hair.. thanks everyone for all help, hope he comes back in one piece. lulubell

Hi Lulubell It was not a skinny smooth tail like a pointer definitely feathered. I did get a good look because as I stopped the cheeky thing had the audacity to turn round and bark at me and I looked at him and thought..you ungrateful devil! lol. Good luck, hope he turns up.

Lulu. So glad the dog is safely back, but were the pet sitters professional? If so, I would like to know who they were so as to avoid them in future.

hi whistler,no the pet-sitter was a so called friend who instead of coming daily to feed and care for toto used to come every couple of days and just let him go and walk on his own so toto's owner has found out from the neighbour and also the neighbour was feeding him in between the so called friends visits, not really a friend if they cannot keep their promise but at least we found him and now he is happy and safe at home.

RE msg 18, lulubell: (...) the pet-sitter was a so called friend who instead of coming daily to feed and care for toto used to come every couple of days and just let him go (...) => The truth is the truth: such a person should be named and shamed. Other "friends" somewhere else may do the same, unless they realise that they will be exposed on this board for what they are: despicable people.
