WHY I dont know but No quality garden statues in northern cyprus from garden centres or the like - just some awfully coloured stone milkmaids carrying a watering jug. İf you have lots of money and willing to spend 200 or 300 pds you can order from a catalogue in the south who imports them from Italy.

Hi Ive

Not statues but you can buy lovely old Cypriot terracotta pots, amphorae and urns and other interesting items that would look nice around the pool. Two suppliers spring to mind, Serendipity Antiques in Kyrenia on the left hand side as you approach the Bellapais lights and a little place kind of opposite Turk Bank and just before the golden lady junction in Alsancak. Haven't got a clue what prices are like but would be interested to find out if anybody knows.
