Some friend of ours lost their son in a car accident on 3 September at 4.20pm, it happened on the Girne to Degirmenlik road.



The whole family are heartbroken and would like to know if anyone witnessed the accident or has any information relating to the incident, as another car involved has not been found.



If anyone has any information they can be contacted through me, at l.fine@sky.com

I was shocked to hear about this accident and the more i read the news on this, i quickly realised that the parents were our friends of the family when they used to live in Broxbourne in Hertfordshire. We lost contact with them when they moved to Cyprus but our thoughts go out to their parents and their other 2 sons who have suffered a great loss. Lets hope witnesses come forward in this case, because who ever was driving the other vehicle involved is still out there and may still be a danger to others.

Just wanted to correct the date, this actually happened on Wednesday 2nd September at 4.20.pm. My daughter, his girlfriend, was in the car following him and saw it all. She is in contact with his parents.

Please, if anyone knows anything, no matter how small - or you were travelling on the same road that day - just have a think back and report back to the police or at least get in touch with ebbern.
