What a dreadful poisonous little dwarf this character is, she is nastiness personified and that ugly daughter of hers who has just returned to annoy us is just as bad.



Peggy Mitchell destroys everything in life that is good...she has a nasty scowl, an ugly face and an even uglier personality, she reminds me of one of my neighbours who strutts about ordering people around and complaining all the time, her long suffering husband is a gentleman, how he wound up with her is a mystery to me...lol.

daisy dukes, don't know about TC soaps but if you can watch "Asi" a Turkish soap that has just finished then as AlsancakJack says it will give you an insight of how Turkish life is. Quite happy to give you the link if you want it, really is worth watching and there is someone doing the English subtitles as well. Are you serious when you say the Eastenders is based on real life?????? not sure what LMAO means, sorry.

Hi DD, like post above I have no idea what LMAO means. I gave up on Eastenders more than a year ago it all seemed to be shouting screaming and mayhem and although I am Scottish have met some real East of London people and they are nothing like the crap that is called in TV land Eastenders.

I also read Martine Cole and enjoy(?maybe not the right term) but I do not believe the amount of incest and violence in said books hopefully is fictional and not actual. I think the TV Easteners is so depressing, but as for Barbara (titsrus before Jordan) Windsor wellif they want to pay her for just being her be it on their own heads,and if I were her I would take the money too.

Never watch Eastenders, but my father was a true cockney - born within the sound of Bow Bells - and way back when Eastenders first started his assessment of it was 'Nothing like the East End because the one trait that East End people all share is the ability to make the best of a bad situation, have a laugh and help each other out'. He refused to watch it from that day on even though my mother was an addict.

I must say, i am a total Eastenders addict...i don't deny it!! If i miss an episode, i swear i get a tic!! But i don't watch any other english soap...Corrie or Emmerdale etc etc....but i'm a great believer in having a vice or 2, and 'enders is one of mine and i refuse to apologise for it!! Emmerdale..indeed poor ole Paddy, always the best man but never the groom, you just gotta weep for him..chastity is just a slut and that aggravating nasal grinding voice of hers is so arghhhhhhhhhhhh!



Corrie steals it for me though with blanche, peter and simon, what a comedy act they are, blanche cracks me up, so cutting but so funny.

My favourite in EE is Christian and yes disappointing that he is gay cos he is very bedable, even at my age lol, but all is not lost for me, there is something about Masood that that makes me tingle, I would like to run my fingers through his hair and ..well we won't go into that ...his whole demeanour is a caring, soft and loving one..nice...his son syed is awful and his youngest son (can't think of his name) cracks me up with his facial expressions.

Tamwa (the son) is also a great chap/boy...he was so funny when he wanted to be a comedian (Jane was rubbish) bit i think Ian should have been killed off years ago...he has never learnt the fine art of acting, same as his late father Pete...he couldn't act either!! What is it about soaps that gets our knickers in such a twist??!! I personally get a tic if i miss an episode...my day just isn't complete without it's 30mins of pure escapism...kinda makes my own life seem positively rosy!! Dizzy cow, Darren is 18, therefore no paedophilic actions, not even Eastenders are willing to go there, although sometimes i think they ought to, maybe if they did, more kids would feel empowered enough to speak out and ask for help!

Watched it yesterday the young girl who plays Stacey is doing a brilliant acting job. They are really highlighting the aspect of Bi-Polar used to be called Manic Depression. Mental illness seems to be on the increase in the UK so by highlighting it on programmes like Eastenders it makes it easier for people to identify and to understand. So for once well done Eastenders.
