Would anyone be willing to give a pooch a good home, we took a her in a couple of weeks ago after seeing her running down the Bogaz to the Karpaz road, i have now returned to the Uk but my wife is still in Bogaz and returning end of next week so we to find a home for this lovely dog urgently. She is about 12 months old, black and white, a total hienz 57 but inteligent and very afectionate, she will respond to the normal sit, down etc and craves love. she has a face to melt your heart when she looks at you. PLEASE PLEASE can someone have room for this poor animal.

Vidal I have seen many cries for help on this subject, but why wait till the dog is half dead and bleeding, as you say hindsight is a wonderful thing but so is compassion why leave a young healthy dog to get run over and maybe cause an accident and possibly someone get killed.

I really really dont want to start another doggy thread cos it has already been done to death, and some, but if she got to a year old and healthy she was obviously doing OK either by herself ..or someone was already looking after her. But, You must have had a perfectly good reason for taking her in, I dont doubt that for a second. Good luck finding her a home..or her original owners.

Hi Mindy Sorry i have no idea if she has been speyed. Unfortunately i did not have my camera with me when i was over, she is black and white and quite tall and has very shiny coat, so there would be no molting from her.

Wattys Thanks for information and kind offer towards costs, I lost my Jack Russel to poisoning over a year ago and said never again so I was at a weak moment so to speak when I read your post but I will think about it all and will post message if I can do it. Sorry if not more forth coming but it is a big decision and I was only contemplating a small dog if i decided to home one.

Mindy - please, if you can have another think. We lost both our Jack Russells within 6 weeks of each other and decided we only wanted to get small dogs. We now have one who is tiny - 2.1kg! and the other is a beautiful sausage dog/ pointer cross. She is much bigger than we intended to get, but such a sweet and gentle soul I couldn't imagine life without her now. It has taken a long time to win her trust and confidence but she is now a very loyal and trustworthy dog. Even if she grew to be the size of an irish wolfhound we wouldn't be without her now. I know no dog can replace the one you lost but it is lovely having another friend around. Only you know what is best for you and whatever that decision is I wish you well

joandjelly, I'll see if I can post a picture of my baby girl. She has a very long body, pointer ears, a cross between the two with the legs and a sausage dog face and I love her to bits!! If I can't figure out how to post it on here I'll email it to you.

Hi Keithcaley, many thanks for your offer but I emailed the photos direct, I'll certainly email any future ones to you. I'm not that technically minded although I can usually get to where I need........... eventually
