If you want to get rid of him - just tell him the truth.

'The Dairy Book of British Food'. Now out of print but look it up on Amazon and you'll find some secondhand books for sale. Very good, I bought it off the the milkman when a kid for my Mothers Birthday and she still has it! There's always Constance Spry, her book is back in print.

try typing in Nigella Lawson in the address bar. She is a great no nonsense cook. You won't go far wrong if you use her recipes.

You must be joking! She's nothing more than a self serving TV camera, money grabbing narcissistic ageing over weight Yuppie who hasn't got a clue in the kitchen!
