OK, now i know what you're thinking...but what i mean is, what makes you feel good...

I like stationary shops...specifically paints and pens...and posh paper

I also like peeling potatoes with a really good sharp peeler

Your turn...and please keep it clean...but funny...

I can spend hours making and decorating cakes - OK so the whole house, the dogs and me end up covered in edible glitter but it's very therapeutic

Alternatively put me in a good book shop and I can spend hours happily browsing and I have to confess I LOVE the smell of new books!!!

Who needs glue sniffing with new books and magazines? I won't let my husband read any of my magazines until I've read them first! Glad I'm not the only one.

DD - He's quite blatant about it as well, asking others if they've read certain articles! He doesn't even use the puzzles as an excuse so now we know what his little fetish is as well

I can't see anything wrong with a little lighthearted thread, makes a change from most of the crap on here just lately.

My fetish is shoe shops, love them, cannot pass one without going in, if they sell handbags as well all the better, I don't have to buy, although I often do, but just to look is enough to lift my spirits.

My wife's fetish is also shoes. She must have 50 or 60 pairs. I dread it everytime she says she's going shopping.

hmmmm, Smithy, that is a weird fetish...where does he keep them? It must be a nightmare for his wife! If i could, i would collect Barbie Dolls...i thought they were amazing when i was a kid, and loved trying to make clothes for them! Also if you can get vintage ones, they're worth a lot of money!

DD - you're not the only female that hates shopping - I absolutely hate it! A friend forced me into going shoping for a dress for her to wear to a wedding, by shop number 486 (only a slight exageration) I really had had enough. In shop number 487 I sat in the middle of the floor and had a tantrum! It worked a treat, she bought the first dress she tried on and never asked me to go shopping ever again

I've been in indulging in one of my favourite things today - I've been decorating a wedding cake! ........ and me and I also have a very beautiful dog who has edible glitter in her fur! In fact the whole kitchen looks like a scene from a Christmas card Happy days.

booitsme...that sounds wonderful...edible glitter everywhere!! I used to watch a cake decorating show on channel 20...there were competitions in America that were so incredible...i wonder how on earth anyone could actually eat such amazing masterpieces!! Do you do competitions at all? My dogs would never allow a single drop of spillage...it would be licked up and cleaned before i'd have time to get the mop!! LOL

DD _ I don't enter competitions, my cakes aren't good enough for that! I just make them for friends who need cakes for special occasions, or if they need a nice calorie fix! With our mini dog shaped vacuum cleaner there's not a lot goes to waste here. he only weights just over a kilo but at the rate he's going he'll double that by the time he goes for his 3rd injection!!! I seem to be having a cake baking fest at the moment with wedding cakes, birthday cakes, welcome to Cyprus cakes and an I love that cake cake - do you think this could be my main fettish???

DD - I do take orders for cakes but so far it has only been from friends, at least that way if I'm busy or just can't be bothered I can say no! I just love cooking and baking and I even have a cupboard chock full of homemade marmalades and chutney that even my husband with his voracious appetite would struggle to get through! Maybe a stall at Chateau Lambousa could be the next step

Well i shall be at the market tomorrow off loading a bunch of clothing...it would be nice to meet you...come and hunt me down for a natter!

I also have another little joy...i like using sharp scissors and knives to cut things, like paper and or vegies...i could cut strips of paper for hours, but only with really good scissors. I absolutely loathe to cut up stuff with blunt scissors or knives!
