The bride usually chooses the colors for her bridesmaid dresses because she likes the color. But there is more to these choices that simply color preference.

OMG



I remember my 1st wedding..,.typical traditional turkish wedding,



I started off with 3 bridesmaids and ended up with 12....took them all to fontwell road to see the dressmaker....wanted all the bridesmaids in different colour dresses, one in yello, pink, green, blue etc...all to be different colours but same style dress.



The mothers started "i dont want my daughter in green" "i dont like that style" etc etc..asked them who was paying for the dresses ME...and walked out.....



Phoned them all up a week later and asked them if their daughters still wanted to be my bridesmaids and if so could i have their sizes, dress, shoes etc...



I went off to oxford street and bought the dresse, shoes, socks etc etc



took them round to the bridesmaids the week before the wedding and said "if you want to be my bridesmaids, theres your outfit, see you there or not"



They all turned up
